Adult Wellness Series
Over the course of each year, we offer several 6-week wellness series for women. Each series features a specific focus and benefit such as core strength and balancing, joint health and alignment, low back and hip care, yoga with light weights to prevent muscle loss, and the practice of resting and being gentle with oneself.
These series are thoughtfully designed to address the various symptoms, changes and stressors that arise as we approach and navigate the seasons of hormonal imbalance during perimenopause and menopause.
We meet weekly for 60 minutes and provide all equipment and modifications to make each class accessible to all levels of experience. In addition to physical benefits, we weave in stress-reducing tools that can help improve emotional wellbeing.
As always, whenever possible, we provide childcare and will confirm this option at the time of registration.

Positive Body Image Classes for Adolescents
Twice a year, we offer free classes to help adolescents develop body awareness, build confidence and make healthy longterm choices. These sessions feature a fun, lighthearted approach to build trust and understanding as well as connection with other girls.
We include breathing exercises, physical movement, stress and anxiety-reducing skills and guided journaling. Additionally, we look for opportunities to collaborate with other professionals to bring additional insight and tools such as art therapy.
We are incredibly passionate about this offering as research shows that over half of American girls report being unhappy with their bodies by age 13, and this number grows to nearly 80% by age 17. Negative and distorted body image can lead to eating disorders and other physical and mental health challenges later and throughout life.
We offer two sessions during the year from September to November and another from mid-January to March in Madison County. These sessions feature a weekly class for 5th to 8th graders as well as a class for 9th to 12th graders. Please stay tuned for more information.
In our country where it is “normal” to hate your body because everyone else does, too, Keep Her Wild works hard to help girls build self-love.
